1995-1996
Dataprise is founded just outside of Washington, D.C. as a tiny start-up by David Eisner. Under Mr. Eisner's leadership, Dataprise has grown immensely. Continue along our timeline to learn more!
Dataprise introduces smallNET™, a network solution that makes doing business easier. This solution provides any small business the following capabilities: Sending and receiving faxes to and from your desktop, access to the corporate network from home or the road, sending and receiving email within the office of over the Internet, and provides dediated Internet connectivity for browsing on the World Wide Web
1997-1998
A young David Eisner hard at work! It was during this time that Dataprise started selling packaged IT support services to the SMB space.
The early-workings of the company. Dataprise introduces additional services: Desktop Upgrades, Email Gateways, Network Security, Server Solutions, and Network Management.
1999-2001
A full desk of Dataprise work circa 1999. This was the year Dataprise sold its 100th support package.
Dataprise announces PC 2000, preparing customers and prospective clients for the technology boom of the new millennium.

2002-2008
2002: Dataprise is placed on the Inc 500 list for the first time. Dataprise was also a winner of the Maryland Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 program the same year. As a result of this, the company was considered for the National Technology Fast 500, which honors the 500 fastest growing North American technology companies. 2002 was also the year where Dataprise began to offer IT support plans with bundled cloud services.
2005: Dataprise acquires StatComm, another information techology services company.
2005: David Eisner receives Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award. Honored for his innovation and risk-taking ability, David started Dataprise by funding the company out of his own pocket and investing every dollar earned back into the company. He sacrificed speed, but gained stability, profitability, and the power to run his enterprise his own unique way. Eisner brought a fresh and unique approach to IT support.
2007-2008: Dataprise receives Washington Business Journal Best Places to Work (both 2007 and 2008), is placed on the Inc. 5000 list, and is once more on the Technology Fast 50.
2009
David Eisner is featured in a news article. During this time, Dataprise is awarded the Tech Awards '09 Regional Rockstars by the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council, US Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, Washingtonian Great Places to Work, and enrolls their 500th SMB customer.
2011

2012
Scott Gordon, now President of Dataprise, served as the company's Chief Operating Officer. During this time he led the development of key internal prodcedures and strategic operations. In 2012, Mr. Gordon was recognized with a Smart COO Award from SmartCEO Magazine.
As Dataprise continued to grow and win workplace awards, so did the vision of its owners. Above is a sketch of the now kitchen area at Dataprise HQ before it came into fruition.
2015

2017
2017 was another big year of awards for Dataprise. The company was honored as a Washington Post Best Place to Work (featured above). In addition to the Washington Post, Dataprise was Ranked a Top Cloud Service Provider by Talkin' Cloud, ranked on the Inc. 5000 list for the 12th consecutive year, named 2017 Microsoft Partner Network's Mid Atlantic US SMB Partner of the Year, ranked among the top 501 Managed Services Providers by MSPmentor, named to CRN's 2017 Solution Provider 500 List, and many more! Dataprise is known for putting their employees first. From puppy parties to wellness awards, the company has established itself as an employee-friendly leader in the tech industry. 2019
Dataprise employees are recoginized for their hard work and dedication at the annual gala ceremony.
